Yellapur comes under Western Ghats section of Karnataka. The most fascinating thing about Yellapur is two famous natural falls- Satoddi falls and Magod falls, and many other hills and valleys. Kannada is spoken by majority of the people in the region. Yellapur has also been featured in MTV Sound Trippin show, hosted by Sneha Khanwalkar.
